I have a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Walden University. I graduated with a 3.94 GPA. I have always loved school and the opportunities to learn new things. Prior to having my daughter, I was a dental assistant for 4 years.
Experience
Throughout my college and professional careers, I have mentored many students and colleagues . I have always strived to define the core of each individual's learning process, in order to effectively influence their knowledge intake. For example, several of my Anatomy and Physiology peers made up songs to remember the parts of the human body. Even when I am learning on my own, I read material as if I were portraying it to other individuals, because with each diverse perspective I use with new material, I gain a better since of understanding. I wish to bring these alternative perspectives and new ways of looking to those searching to learn Dentistry and Pre-Dentistry I have been a dental assistant for 4 years prior to having my daughter. I worked at a private practice as the primary assistant for 3 years. In this position, I trained many other assistants in the field. Psychology Psychology is my major, my degree, and my why. This subject is the reason I decided to continue to learn. This field of science to me is the definition of chronic continued learning. For four years I have explored the mental, physical, anthropological, cultural,influential, social, religious, and global perspectives of the psychological form. Each perspective has created a foundation of knowledge in which I can share with others and continue to grow myself. Study Skills Studying has always been a great experience for me. I look for new ways to learn and understand material so that it becomes knowledge. Writing What makes me and awesome writing tutor is my reading skills. For two years straight in obtaining my bachelors degree, I wrote one paper every week. In this time my APA writing skills excelled. My strategy was to stay organized and answer the questions asked by my professor in the most professional creative and accurate ways. In doing so, I received many perfect writing scores.

Hobbies
Outside of school, my husband and I garden, run Spartan races, and have a 9 month old that is ready to start running too. I am always searching for ways to improve myself, my knowledge and my life with positive physical and mental challenges. I do so, not only because it is in my nature, but to show my daughter that it is okay to grow and learn no matter your age.
